Day 1: Zanzibar – Serengeti National Park
Your Tanzanian adventure begins with a morning flight from Zanzibar to Serengeti National Park. As the aircraft leaves Zanzibar behind, enjoy spectacular views of the Tanzanian landscape before landing in the heart of one of Africa’s most famous wildlife destinations.
Upon arrival, you will meet your professional Breath of Savanna Safaris guide and begin your first game drive in the Serengeti.
The Serengeti is renowned for its vast open plains and extraordinary concentration of wildlife. During your afternoon exploration, keep your eyes open for large herds of wildebeest and zebras, giraffes, elephants, buffaloes and a variety of antelope species.
The park is also home to some of Africa’s most impressive predators. With a little luck, you may encounter lions resting on the plains, cheetahs scanning the grasslands for prey or a leopard concealed among the trees.
Enjoy a picnic lunch during your safari before continuing your exploration through the afternoon. Your guide will use their knowledge of the park and wildlife movements to help you make the most of your time in the Serengeti.
As the sun begins to descend over the plains, you will proceed to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and your first night beneath the African wilderness.

Day 2: Serengeti National Park Full Day Game Drive - Ngorongoro
After breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive in the Serengeti. With an entire day dedicated to exploring the park, you will have the opportunity to venture through different wildlife areas and spend more time observing animals in their natural habitat.
The Serengeti’s diverse landscapes support an incredible variety of wildlife. Depending on the season and location, you may encounter large herds of wildebeest and zebras, elephants, giraffes, hippos, buffaloes and many species of antelope.
The park is also renowned for its predators. Keep a keen eye on the surrounding plains and rocky outcrops for lions, cheetahs and leopards.
A picnic lunch in the park allows you to maximise your time on safari while enjoying the spectacular surroundings.
In the afternoon, continue your game drive as you gradually make your way towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The landscape changes dramatically as you approach the highlands, offering beautiful views along the way.
Arrive at your accommodation in the Ngorongoro/Karatu area for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater Full Day Game Drive - Karatu
After an early breakfast, you will depart for the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, one of Tanzania’s most extraordinary wildlife destinations.
Upon arrival at the crater rim, your safari vehicle will begin the descent approximately 600 meters down onto the crater floor. As you make your way down the winding road, enjoy spectacular views across the vast caldera and its diverse habitats.
Once on the crater floor, begin your Ngorongoro Crater game drive, exploring the grasslands, wetlands, forests and other habitats that support an exceptional concentration of wildlife.
The crater is home to an impressive variety of animals, and during your game drive you may encounter lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos and hyenas. With some luck, you may also have the opportunity to spot the endangered black rhinoceros.
The dramatic crater walls and open landscapes provide a spectacular backdrop for wildlife viewing and photography. Your experienced safari guide will help you discover the best opportunities for observing animals while sharing fascinating information about the crater’s ecosystem and wildlife.
Picnic Lunch in the Crater
Around midday, enjoy your packed picnic lunch at a designated picnic area within the crater. Take a moment to relax and appreciate the remarkable surroundings before continuing your game drive.
After lunch, continue exploring the crater floor, with further opportunities to encounter wildlife and enjoy the unique scenery of this extraordinary natural environment.
Later in the afternoon, ascend from the crater and drive to your lodge in the Karatu area. Check in, relax and enjoy dinner after an unforgettable day of wildlife exploration.

Day 2: Karatu– Arusha – Flight To Zanzibar
After breakfast, check out from your lodge/camp and begin your journey towards Arusha Airport. The drive takes approximately 3–4 hours, depending on your accommodation and road conditions.
Enjoy the changing scenery as you travel from the Ngorongoro highlands towards Arusha. Upon arrival in Arusha, you will have lunch before continuing to the airport for your scheduled flight to Zanzibar.
Upon arrival in Zanzibar, you will be met and transferred to your beach hotel or resort. The remainder of the day is yours to relax and enjoy the island’s tropical atmosphere after an unforgettable safari through northern Tanzania.
Dinner and Overnight at your preferred Beach Hotel/Resort on Half Board, Full Board or All-Inclusive Basis.
