Day 1: Welcome To Kenya – Arrival In Nairobi
· Karibu Kenya! Welcome to the land of breathtaking landscapes, incredible wildlife, and warm African hospitality.
· Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), you will be warmly welcomed by our professional representative, who will assist you with your luggage before transferring you to your pre-booked hotel in Nairobi.
· As Kenya’s vibrant capital, Nairobi is the only city in the world with a national park on its doorstep. It is a dynamic destination where modern city life blends seamlessly with rich culture, history, and abundant wildlife, making it the perfect gateway to your unforgettable safari adventure.
· After checking in, spend the rest of the day relaxing and recovering from your journey, or simply enjoy the comfort and amenities of your hotel as you prepare for the exciting days ahead.
· Meals: Lunch and Dinner at your own arrangement.
· Overnight at your preferred hotel on Bed and Breakfast Basis.
Day 2: Nairobi To Samburu National Resreve
· 07:30 AM – Early morning pick up from your booked hotel in Nairobi by your very own PRIVATE English-speaking driver guide, and then depart for Samburu National Reserve.
· The drive towards Samburu National Reserve is approximately 6 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions to the designated destination.
· En route to Samburu National Reserve, you will make a brief stop at Nanyuki Town, which lies directly on the Equator. Here, you’ll enjoy a short but fascinating Equator Ceremony, where local guides demonstrate the Coriolis effect — showing how water spins in opposite directions in the northern and southern hemispheres. After this unique experience and photo opportunity, you will proceed with your journey to Samburu.
· You will arrive in time for a mouthwatering lunch at your respective lodge/camp, and thereafter check in and relax.
· After some relaxation, proceed for the afternoon game drive in the reserve. Samburu National Reserve is a unique wildlife conservation haven famous for an abundance of rare species such as the Grevy’s Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Reticulated Giraffe, Gerenuk, and Beisa Oryx. The reserve is also home to a population of close to 900 elephants. Large predators such as the lion, leopard, and cheetah are also important attractions. Kamunyak, the famous lioness that adopted a baby Oryx, is a resident in the reserve.
· Thereafter, return to your respective lodge/camp for dinner.
· Dinner and Overnight at your preferred Lodge/Camp on Full Board Basis.
Day 3: Samburu National Reserve Full Day Game Drives
· Enjoy morning buffet breakfast at your respective lodge/camp and then depart with a picnic lunch box to explore this amazing park.
· Today, you will proceed on an adventurous full-day game drive at Samburu National Reserve to view a variety of wildlife, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes, and a variety of bird species.
· Stop for a picnic lunch at a designated spot in the park and enjoy your meal surrounded by the beautiful wilderness.
· After lunch, continue with the afternoon game drive and further explore the reserve.
· Take memorable photographs from our open-roof tour vehicle.
· Dinner and Overnight at your preferred Lodge/Camp on Full Board Basis.
Day 4: Samburu National Reserve – Lake Nakuru National Park
· After an early breakfast, check out and depart Samburu National Reserve for Lake Nakuru National Park, enjoying a scenic drive through Kenya’s picturesque central highlands.
· En route, make a stop at the spectacular Thomson’s Falls in Nyahururu. Cascading approximately 74 metres (243 feet) into a lush gorge, this breathtaking waterfall is one of Kenya’s beautiful natural attractions. Take time to admire the stunning views, capture memorable photographs, and enjoy the refreshing atmosphere before continuing your journey through the scenic Great Rift Valley.
· Arrive at your respective lodge/camp in time for lunch, followed by some leisure time to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
· Later in the afternoon, set out on an exciting game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, renowned for its beautiful acacia woodlands, scenic lake, and exceptional wildlife. The park is one of Kenya’s premier sanctuaries for both black and white rhinos and is also home to lions, leopards, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, waterbucks, and a wide variety of bird species. Depending on the season and water levels, you may also witness the famous flamingos gathering along the lake’s shoreline.
· Return to your respective lodge/camp before sunset for dinner and an overnight stay, reflecting on another unforgettable day of your Kenyan safari adventure.
· Dinner and Overnight at your preferred Lodge/Camp on Full Board Basis.
Day 5: Lake Nakuru National Park – Masai Mara National Reserve
· Morning buffet breakfast at your respective lodge/camp and then check out.
· Depart for Masai Mara National Reserve, which takes approximately 4–5 hours, depending on road conditions, traffic, and terrain en route to the destination.
· Arrive in time for lunch, check in at your respective lodge/camp, and relax.
· After lunch and relaxation, head for an evening game drive in the Masai Mara National Reserve, where you get to explore the wide-open grass plains and scattered acacia bush that are home to a wide variety of wildlife, including the BIG FIVE such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, the endangered black rhino, and wildebeests.
· Wildebeests are famous for their yearly 8th Wonder of the World, which happens from July – October and is called the Migration. The reserve also offers diverse birdlife, with over 400 species.
· Enjoy the rooftop of the car opened for great views and photography.
· Dinner and Overnight at your preferred Lodge/Camp on Full Board Basis.
Day 6: Masai Mara National Reserve Full Day Game Drive
· This is a busy day! After a hearty early morning breakfast, armed with our picnic lunch, embark on a thrilling game drive through the heart of the Masai Mara, renowned for its vast herds of wildebeest and zebras. The morning light is ideal for spotting wildlife as they become active, and you may have the opportunity to witness the iconic Sunrise while in the park.
· As you explore the diverse landscapes of the park, keep your eyes peeled for the “Big Five” and a variety of other wildlife, including cheetahs, hyenas, and giraffes. At around Midday, enjoy a leisurely picnic lunch amidst the stunning savanna, surrounded by the sounds of nature.
· After lunch, continue your wildlife adventure, possibly witnessing the dramatic Mara River crossings (seasonal – happens between July–September). Return to your camp/lodge for another memorable dinner and share stories of your incredible day with fellow travellers. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at your camp/lodge.
· BALLOON SAFARI EXPERIENCE WITH CHAMPAGNE BUSH BREAKFAST IS AVAILABLE ON THIS DAY AT AN EXTRA COST OF $480 PER PERSON.
· Dinner and Overnight at your preferred Lodge/Camp on Full Board Basis.
Day 7: Depart
· Early morning, enjoy a mouthwatering buffet breakfast at your booked Lodge/Camp and then check out.
· Optional Maasai Cultural Visit – $20 per person.
· Enjoy a visit to the famous Maasai Cultural Village for an educative session on the lifestyle and traditions of the Maasai. Learn about their daily way of life, cultural practices, and traditional dances.
· Depart for Nairobi, also known as the “Green City in the Sun.”
· The drive to Nairobi takes approximately 6 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions to the designated destination.
· Drop off at your booked hotel in Nairobi or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) for your flight back home. (3 hours prior check-in is required.)
