Day 1: Entebbe– Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary – Murchison Falls National Park
· Your Murchison Falls safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel or Entebbe International Airport by your professional, English-speaking Breath of Savanna Safaris driver-guide. After a warm welcome and short safari briefing, we set off northwards towards Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest national park and one of the country’s premier wildlife destinations.
· Our first stop will be at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, located in Nakasongola. The sanctuary plays an important role in the conservation and reintroduction of rhinoceros in Uganda and offers a unique opportunity to encounter these magnificent animals in their natural environment.
· Upon arrival, you will embark on a guided rhino tracking experience on foot, accompanied by an experienced sanctuary ranger. As you explore the sanctuary, you will learn more about rhino conservation while observing these impressive animals from a safe and respectful distance. This intimate walking experience provides a wonderful introduction to Uganda’s wildlife and adds a special dimension to your safari.
· After the rhino tracking experience, enjoy lunch at the sanctuary followed by a short rest before continuing your journey northwards to Murchison Falls National Park.
· The drive takes you through Uganda’s beautiful countryside, with changing landscapes and rural communities along the way. Upon arrival in the Murchison Falls area, check in at your lodge and have a short opportunity to freshen up before heading out for your included evening game drive.
· As the afternoon gives way to evening, venture into the park with your experienced safari guide in search of its diverse wildlife. Keep your eyes open for elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, antelopes and other savannah wildlife, while predators such as lions, hyenas and leopards may also be encountered.
· The evening game drive is a wonderful way to begin your Murchison Falls adventure, particularly as wildlife becomes more active during the cooler hours of the day and the golden light creates excellent opportunities for photography.
· After the game drive, return to your lodge for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay, ready for another exciting day of wildlife exploration in Murchison Falls National Park.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive – Nile Boat Cruise – Hike To The Top Of The Falls
· Rise early and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee before setting out for an exciting morning game drive on the northern bank of Murchison Falls National Park. The early morning hours offer excellent wildlife-viewing opportunities as animals become active across the savannah.
· With your experienced safari guide, explore the park in search of lions, elephants, giraffes, Uganda kobs, Jackson’s hartebeests, oribis, buffaloes and other antelope species. The park is also home to an impressive variety of birdlife, so keep your binoculars ready as you explore the open plains and woodland areas.
· After an exciting morning in the wilderness, return to your lodge in time for lunch. Enjoy a relaxed midday break and prepare for the afternoon’s spectacular adventure along the mighty River Nile.
· After lunch, head to the river for a boat cruise towards the base of Murchison Falls. The approximately three-hour boat experience takes you along the Nile, offering a unique perspective of the park and its wildlife.
· As you cruise upstream, watch for large pods of hippos and Nile crocodiles in and around the water. Along the riverbanks, you may encounter elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks and other wildlife coming to the river to drink and cool off. The cruise also provides excellent opportunities to appreciate Uganda’s rich birdlife and the beautiful scenery surrounding the Nile.
· The boat journey culminates near the base of Murchison Falls, where the Nile dramatically forces its way through a narrow gorge before plunging downstream. From here, continue on foot for a hike to the top of the falls, where you will be rewarded with spectacular views of the powerful waters rushing through the gorge and the surrounding landscape.
· After taking in this unforgettable natural spectacle, rejoin your safari vehicle and return to your lodge. Enjoy a relaxed evening, dinner and a peaceful overnight stay as you reflect on an action-packed day in one of Uganda’s most remarkable wilderness destinations.

Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park – Queen Elizabeth National Park
· After breakfast, bid farewell to the beautiful Murchison Falls region and begin your scenic journey southwards towards Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda’s most diverse and rewarding wildlife destinations.
· The drive takes you through the heart of rural Uganda, offering an opportunity to experience the country beyond its national parks. Along the way, enjoy views of green rolling hills, tea plantations, banana plantations, traditional African homesteads and local villages, with the changing landscapes providing a fascinating glimpse into everyday life in Uganda.
· We will make a stop along the way for lunch, allowing you to relax and refresh before continuing the journey towards Queen Elizabeth National Park.
· As we approach the park, the landscape gradually changes into the wildlife-rich ecosystems of western Uganda. Depending on road conditions and the time of arrival, we may have the opportunity to enjoy an evening game drive as we enter the park, giving you a chance to begin exploring its savannah landscapes and search for wildlife before heading to your lodge.
· Upon arrival, check in at your accommodation and settle in for a relaxing evening. Enjoy dinner and rest well as you prepare for the exciting wildlife experiences awaiting you in Queen Elizabeth National Park the following day.

Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking In Kalinzu Forest & Kazinga Channel Boat Safari
· Rise early and enjoy breakfast before setting out for an exciting chimpanzee trekking experience in Kalinzu Forest Reserve, one of Uganda’s renowned destinations for primate encounters.
· Upon arrival, you will meet the experienced forest ranger-guides and receive a briefing on the guidelines, safety measures and responsible practices to follow during the trek. You will then begin your walk through the lush tropical forest in search of habituated chimpanzee communities.
· As you make your way along the forest trails, keep an eye out for chimpanzees moving through the treetops and forest floor. The experience is not only about finding the chimpanzees—it also offers an opportunity to appreciate the forest’s rich biodiversity, including monkeys, birds, butterflies, ancient trees and other fascinating wildlife.
· After completing the chimpanzee tracking experience, return to your lodge for some time to relax and enjoy lunch before your afternoon adventure.
· Later, head out for a boat cruise along the spectacular Kazinga Channel, one of the highlights of any safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park. The channel connects Lake George and Lake Edward and is famous for its remarkable concentration of wildlife along its shores.
· As the boat glides along the water, you will have excellent opportunities to see large pods of hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants and buffaloes gathering along the shoreline. The cruise is also a fantastic birdwatching experience, with numerous species frequently seen around the channel and surrounding wetlands.
· Enjoy the peaceful rhythm of the cruise while taking in the beautiful scenery and capturing memorable photographs of Uganda’s wildlife from the water.
· After the boat trip, return to your accommodation, freshen up and enjoy a relaxed evening, dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Kasenyi Plains – Isasha Sector - Bwindi
· After an early breakfast, we set out for another rewarding morning game drive across the Kasenyi Plains. The early hours offer excellent wildlife-viewing opportunities as the savannah comes alive.
· With your experienced safari guide, keep a keen eye out for Cape buffaloes, elephants, Uganda kobs, antelopes and lions. Leopards may also be encountered, although these elusive cats are naturally more difficult to spot. Every game drive is different, and the excitement lies in never knowing what may appear around the next bend.
· We will then continue towards the Ishasha Sector, located in the southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park and renowned for its famous tree-climbing lions. Seeing these magnificent cats resting high in the branches of large fig or acacia trees is one of Uganda’s most unique wildlife experiences.
· While sightings cannot be guaranteed, your guide will carefully search the area for these iconic lions. If you are fortunate enough to find them resting in the trees, you will have an incredible opportunity to observe and photograph them from a unique perspective. Ishasha is also home to plenty of other wildlife, including elephants, buffaloes, topis, Uganda kobs and various antelope species.
· After exploring Ishasha, we will leave the park and continue towards your accommodation near Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The journey takes you through some of southwestern Uganda’s beautiful landscapes, gradually bringing you closer to the rainforest and the mountain gorilla habitat.
· Upon arrival, check in and enjoy a relaxed evening at your lodge. With the physically demanding gorilla trekking experience awaiting you the following morning, the remainder of the day is intentionally kept free for rest and preparation.
· Take some time to unwind, enjoy the peaceful surroundings and prepare for one of the most extraordinary wildlife encounters of your lifetime.

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking In Bwindi – Transfer To Lake Bunyonyi
· Today is the highlight of your Uganda safari—an unforgettable encounter with the magnificent mountain gorillas of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
· After an early breakfast, prepare your packed lunch and meet your safari driver-guide for the transfer to the park’s ranger station. Here, you will receive a detailed briefing from the Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA) team on the gorilla trekking guidelines, safety precautions and responsible behavior while in the forest. You will also be assigned to a gorilla trekking group.
· The trek begins at approximately 8:00 AM, accompanied by experienced park ranger-guides and fellow trekkers. The journey through Bwindi’s ancient rainforest can be physically demanding, with steep slopes, dense vegetation and, depending on the conditions, muddy and slippery trails. However, every step is rewarded by the anticipation of finding one of the forest’s remarkable gorilla families.
· The duration of the trek is unpredictable and can take approximately 3 to 8 hours or more, depending on the location and movements of the gorillas. Once your assigned gorilla family is located, you will have up to one hour to quietly observe these incredible primates in their natural habitat. Watching them interact, feed, groom and care for one another at such close range is a truly extraordinary experience that you will remember for a lifetime.
· After completing your trek, return to the ranger station where you will receive your gorilla trekking certificate, a special keepsake commemorating this remarkable wildlife encounter.
· You will then rejoin your safari vehicle and continue to Lake Bunyonyi, one of Uganda’s most beautiful highland destinations. Surrounded by lush, terraced hillsides rising to approximately 2,200–2,478 metres above sea level, the lake is renowned for its tranquil waters and 29 picturesque islands, each with its own shape, character and story.
· Arrive at your accommodation, check in and unwind as you take in the spectacular scenery and peaceful atmosphere of Lake Bunyonyi.
· Dinner and Overnight at your preferred Lodge/Camp on Full Board Basis.
Day 7: Lake Bunyonyi – Entebbe
· Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at your lodge/camp while taking in the breathtaking views across the tranquil waters of Lake Bunyonyi, with its lush green hills and beautiful islands creating the perfect setting for your final morning in southwestern Uganda.
· If your international flight is scheduled for later in the evening, you may choose to make the most of your time at Lake Bunyonyi with an optional canoe excursion at an additional cost. Paddle gently across the calm waters, admire the surrounding terraced hills and islands, and experience the peaceful beauty of one of Uganda’s most scenic lakes before beginning your journey back to Entebbe.
· After breakfast and any optional activity, check out and meet your safari driver-guide for the scenic drive back to Entebbe. The journey offers a final opportunity to enjoy Uganda’s beautiful countryside as you make your way towards the airport.
· Depending on your flight schedule and road conditions, you will arrive in Entebbe in the late afternoon or evening, allowing sufficient time for your onward flight.
