Hells Gate National Park

Hell’s Gate is one of Kenya’s most adventurous parks—famous for its dramatic cliffs, gorges, and geothermal steam vents. It’s one of the few parks where visitors can walk, cycle, or rock climb amidst wildlife such as zebras, giraffes, and antelopes. It’s also known as the inspiration behind Disney’s The Lion King landscapes.

How to Get There

Located near Naivasha, about 100 km northwest of Nairobi, Hell’s Gate can be reached by road (2 hours) via the Nairobi–Naivasha highway.
